In a small town in northern New Mexico, Aurora must face her husband's death or find someone to replace him in heaven. Adelino must die or give up the faith he holds so dear. Solito must find a way to keep the two people he loves most without losing himself. Hermin must watch Star Trek: the Next Generation on channel 6.
Adapted from the Greek play Alcestis, this play is a mix of Greek Myth, Christian Myth, and New Mexican folklore that explores the ideas of the life and the final frontier (whether it be death or space).

The Feather, a new work by Mars Mráz, follows the life of a young man from Farmington, New Mexico, Raul Atencio, who survives the siege of Khe Sanh in 1968, during the Vietnam War, through the magic of a feather given to him by his wife, Aurelia. Upon his return Raul is haunted by nightmares of the vicious rats of Khe Sanh and subsequently drives his wife and son, David, away with his virulence. Twenty-five years later David tracks down his dying father in a hospital in search of the magical feather to be passed down to his own newborn son.

In 1967, Reyes Lopez Tijerina raided the small town county courthouse of Tierra Amarilla in hopes of giving land back to their rightful Spaniard heirs. He was unsuccessful. But what if he was and gave it back to the jailbirds instead of heirs? This is a comic, playful adaptation of Aristophanes’ The Birds, where the birds are “Nortenos folks” dirt rich and money poor. The last thing they need is more land.

A Native American soldier comes home, haunted by his experiences. A brilliant examination of war, genocide, the Comanche people, the role of women in war time and what it means to be a warrior and/or a pacifist.
